What is Barley Grass?

Barley grass is the leaves and leaf juice of the barley plant. Barley has been cultivated by various civilizations across the world for millennia, and may be the first cereal grain to have been cultivated by humans. Barley grass is cultivated in the plant before the grain is developed, making it more like a green leafy vegetable than a grain.
