What are Bioflavonoids?
Bioflavonoids are a type of antioxidant that are essential for the stability and absorption of vitamin C. Their primary functions include supporting the homeostasis of the walls of small blood vessels or capillaries as well as maintaining the body’s collagen. Also known as vitamin P, bioflavonoids are commonly found in the pulp and rinds of citrus fruits as well as other sources of vitamin C such as broccoli and soybeans.
