What is Cibotium?
Cibotium is a tree fern native to Asia. The rhizome of this plant is used in Chinese herbal medicine.
What are the health benefits of Cibotium?
This herb has two main areas of action: it can treat urinary incontinence and certain kinds of vaginal discharge. Additionally, cibotium also treats stiffness and soreness in the lower back, legs and feet, including the knees. It may be used to alleviate swelling in the legs as well—especially if it is the type that occurs after an illness when a person is weak.
