What is Dizziness?
Dizziness, the light-headedness that is often accompanied by a sense of losing one’s balance, is often the symptom of a larger underlying condition. In other words, if a person is dizzy because they got up too quickly from a sitting or inclined position, then they are dizzy because of a lack of blood flow to the brain, which does not require any treatment. Dizziness is often the result of a buildup of mucous, and therefore, spicy foods, heavy starchy foods, dairy products, sugar, wheat, and other substances that cause mucous should be avoided. Caffeine, alcohol, salt, and rigorous exercise should be avoided as well.
