What is Peucedanum Root?
Peucedanum roots are harvested, or dug up, in spring or winter and usually dried outdoors in the sun. After the root is dry, it is cleaned by removing the bark and then soaked in water and cut into slices. The root is an antibacterial, antifungal, analgesic, and expectorant.

What are the health benefits of Peucedanum Root?
Peucedanum root is used to treat asthma and difficult breathing, as well as coughs, colds, and headaches. It strengthens the lungs and helps induce the secretion of mucus to dilute hard phlegm in bronchial tubes.
