What is Peucedanum Root?
Peucedanum roots are harvested, or dug up, in spring or winter and usually dried outdoors in the sun. After the root is dry, it is cleaned by removing the bark and then soaked in water and cut into slices. The root is an antibacterial, antifungal, analgesic, and expectorant.
