Reversing history of heart disease?

Q: Dear Dr. Mao,
In my family there is a history of heart disease. Is there a way to reverse this disease?

A: As I have illustrated in my book, it is never too late to begin your journey to good health and wellness. Learn from your family history and research the things that triggered these conditions, looking especially at life habits, eating habits, and stressors. Then simply avoid these. Assume a well-balanced, heart-helping, and health-conscious nutrition. Get a good amount of exercise, and don’t smoke, drink, or stress yourself. Above all, remain optimistic.

I would also suggest a regular physical and preventive testing of your cardiovascular system.

You can also try adding the following herbal supplements from the Traditions of Tao to your daily health regimen: “Super Clarity” and “Heart”. Of course, discuss with your physician before beginning any new health regime.
