A: Palms and soles belong in the yin aspect of your body; as such, it appears that you may be depleting your yin energies. Dryness in general may be a chronic condition due to depleted internal fluids. First, stop walking barefoot because it may worsen the condition. Second, keep your feet moist by giving them steam baths. Third, keep hydrated and drink plenty of water, at least 60 ounces per day.
This is a good steam bath for you feet:
Dissolve some mang xiao (Natrii sulfas mirabilite) and seaweed. Then steam the soles of your feet over it.
